APPLE
CRISP Mix
Use
your choice of fresh or canned fruit pie filling in place of apples. Caramel
Apple Cobbler Using an 8" square microwave-safe dish, combine 12 candy caramels
and 1 Tbsp. water. Microwave on High 2-3 minutes or until caramels are melted,
stirring twice during cooking. Add 3 cups of thinly sliced apples to caramel mixture,
stirring to coat. Follow step 3 above. Microwave, uncovered on High 6-8 minutes
OR bake per oven directions above. Sweet
Potato Casserole substitute 3 cups sweetened, mashed sweet potatoes for apples
and bake per oven directions above.
CHERRY
CRUNCH Mix
Use
your choice of fresh or canned fruit pie filling in place of cherries Cherry
Crumb Pie Coat 3 cups of pitted cherries with 1 Tbsp. of melted butter and
1 Tbsp. of sugar. Pour coated cherries into an unbaked pie shell. Combine melted
butter with crunch mix until crumbly. Sprinkle mixture evenly over cherries. Bake
at 350 for 45-55 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown. Sweet
Potato Casserole Substitute 3 cups sweetened, mashed sweet potatoes for cherries
and bake per oven directions above. PEACH
COBBLER Mix
Use
any of the following fruits in place of peaches: apples, pears, rhubarb, cherries,
blackberries, blueberries, pineapple chunks, apricots, strawberries, fruit cocktail
or any other fruit. If
peach pie filling is used for preparation, spread pie filling into an ungreased
8" square baking dish. Combine milk and melted butter with cobbler mix; stir thoroughly.
Pour batter over pie filling.
